Claire and Sandy have a schedule for the weekend of August 5-7, 2011!

Friday August 5th

Anchor Inn 6:30 pm

Saturday August 6th

Tour HHS 10:00 am Dennis Perrin will be our tour guide 1 1/2-2 hrs.

12:00 pm NOON – Group photos at HHS to use for the

photographic/cookbook front and back covers – Remember your Hat!!!

We need a definite reservation for LaTorre. Also need to be paid with one check. So please let Sandy know by July 22 if you are coming and mail a check payable to Sandy Siegfried--201 Cochise Trail--Hutchinson, KS 67502

This will be outside and could be warm so dress very casual. This is an awesome place and perfect for a 60th gathering. We know you will really enjoy it.
We also need a close count for the RAZ and Anchor Inn so they have an idea. We have 30 seats reserved for the Anchor as there is a 20 year reunion for Nickerson HS that same night. So please let us know. We know some won't be coming until Sat. and some have to leave early Sun.

There will be another group photo down at the Fox Theatre outside sometime Saturday evening but we don't have an exact time yet, so this blog will be updated soon.

OK Ladies-I've got a couple of business items to get ready for the party this summer. First of all, I did not carefully read Sandy's post--be sure you send her your $ for Sat night and I would think it might be helpful is we had an idea of who was interested in doing what.

Secondly, Valjean is hard at work on the cookbook so if you haven't already PLEASE email her a couple of recipes and any old photos you may have in jpeg format. I personally took her at her word and sent family favorites and believe me they are not fancy dishes. Having raised 2 sons I would put our favorites more in the "hearty" category-not gourmet!! I'm looking forward to the photo also in sun hats-if you haven't already look at Gail Brewster's photo of the women in their family on vacation! Maybe Gail would be kind enough to post the photo on this page.

Photos and Recipes and FUN!!!

Hey girls! I hit pay-dirt today in a box of photos that were from Jr. High and High School for the Photographic Cookbook. I can hardly wait to get hem all scanned in. Please take some time to find yours as we will all have different peeps in our photos. Also send me your favorite recipes, they can be someone else's in your lives. Remember to tell me who is in your photos and alittle something perhaps about why that recipe is special to you and/or your family. It is really fun when you find special moments that have been along the way in your 60 years! Enjoy and I look forward to hearing from you all soon! Blessings and love

Hello Ladies-
Wanted you all to know Maggi Conger Spain's husband passed away suddenly Monday evening. Apparently he had been out running and collapsed. His funeral is Friday at Trinity at 10:00 am. Maggi's info is part of our list, so if you want to let her know we are thinking of her you can get in touch with her. I cannot imagine what a difficult time this is for her and my prayers are with her. Patty
